Open Access Policy

 All the articles published in the Journal of Indo-Pacific Academy of Forensic Odontology are made freely accessible online immediately after publication with a DOI assigned to each article.

 Submission Policy

As of now, as approved by the Executive Council, there is no Charge/Fee for submitting manuscripts to the Journal of Indo-Pacific Academy of Forensic Odontology. However, the journal reserves the right to charge APC in the future.

Peer-review Policy

All the manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Indo-Pacific Academy of Forensic Odontology will be subjected to double blinded peer review process;

 The manuscript will be reviewed by two suitable experts in the respective subject area.The reports of both reviewers will be considered while deciding on the acceptance/revision or rejection of a manuscript. Editor-In-Chief will make the final decision, based on the reviewer's comments.

Associate editors and review editors provide administrative support to maintain the integrity of the peer review process.

 

Informed Consent

The patient must be competent to make a voluntary decision. Informed Consent is ethical as well as a         legal obligation for medical practitioners. The Informed Consent Form is signed by the patient where in the entire procedure/intervention details are outlined.

All authors/Researchers submitting original research work should obtain their consent prior to submitting the research work for review. The detailed set of the consent form(s) as the case may be should be submitted along with the manuscript.
